We offer a wide choice of woollen shawls that re procured from Kullu, a place that has always occupies a place of pride among the native handloom products. Featuring world famous traditional patterns & superior quality, they are offered at reasonable costs.
Features:
- It is a light woollen fabric measuring 1 x 2 meters and usually draped it around & over the chest and shoulders
- The designs available in different geometric patterns are available along the ends of the shawl
- Each design can be developed from one to eight colors
- Generally, the yarn used is Angora wool, Merino wool, Pashmina wool, local sheep wool or a combination of any of these
- Also available in men's variety known as Loi or Chaddar
- Angora, Pashmina & Local wool shawls offered can be offered in both classic traditional & modern designs
Kullu Shawl:
- Woven from undyed wool, these shawls feature neutral ground & vibrant borders
- These are a more simplified version of the Kinnauri shawl, where the latter features small sized but complex motifs & detailed patterning
- In Kullu shawl these designs are both enlarged & simplified
- As labour involved is less, these shawls are also less expensive than its Kinnauri counterpart
